At the Illinois Sports Science Institute, we know that: Adolescent Physiology is distinct from Adult Physiology. This distinction drives our approach.
Young athletes undergo a comprehensive evaluation encompassing over 2000 data points, tapping into ISSI's proprietary sports-specific domains. This wealth of data lays the foundation for what we term the ISSI Sports Physiology Analytics Assessment.

What sets us apart is our expertise and cutting-edge testing procedures and interpretation strategies meticulously designed for the unique physiology of adolescent athletes. Traditionally, these high-caliber medical sports evaluations were only performed on collegiate, Olympic, and professional athletes.
With the help of his carefully selected sports medical staff, Dr. Steven R. Boas, a distinguished Pediatric Sports Pulmonologist and the visionary behind ISSI, extends these evaluations to adolescent athletes at middle and high school levels.
